We who are fearless and hard-headed, despite having seen so many sufferings of birth, old age, sickness, and death, are wasting our human lives, endowed with freedom, and opportunity, on the paths of destruction.

zombiemergencyresponseoperations:

In Time (2011)

In a future where people stop aging at 25, but are engineered to live only one more year, having the means to buy your way out of the situation is a shot at immortal youth. Here, Will Salas finds himself accused of murder and on the run with a hostage - a connection that becomes an important part of the way against the system.

Great looking cast - they don’t age past 25… Action sci-fi fantasy!

Time is essential in this futuristic world, where science has beaten death. There are enforcers who keep “time” and not the peace. A wicked exchange for age that plays on many human emotions. Accompanied by a love story that reminds me of some Stockholm syndrome romantic films.

Run! Drive! Shoot!

Justin Timberlake & Amanda Seyfried take the leading roles in this Romeo & Juliet futuristic tale. I had my doubts about JT, he did ok. Seyfried looked stunning with the new do, me gusta! Persistently chasing them is Time Keeper Cillian Murphy, doing splendid as usual.

Ahahahaha! sweet! (sarcastic) Olivia Wilde plays Timberlake’s mother.

A cruel fate awaits mankind in this futuristic fountain of youth utopia. “Time is now a currency” trading through touch, interesting - i believe it possible/will happen (someday). There is some truth to this make believe world that we can relate to. World where the rich live longer and the poor die faster.

If i was to shelf this… i’d put it beside: Gattaca (1997), Minority Report (2002), The Island (2005), Daybreakers (2009) and Æon Flux (2005).

It’s Hollywood. This deserves an “ok”, i got what i expected.
